Base Pay Range $127,316.80/yr - $188,094.40/yr
Responsibilities
Talent and organizational development: Shape recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and leadership pipelines.
Employee relations & labor compliance: Lead negotiations, grievances, collective bargaining; ensure adherence to federal/state/local regulations.
Diversity, equity & inclusion: Drive DEI initiatives and cultivate a workplace culture rooted in respect, integrity, trust, and excellence.
Performance management & training: Design and manage performance systems, career development, and learning programs.
Compensation, classification & benefits: Manage pay structures, benefits, leave administration, and benchmarking.
Budget & team leadership: Oversee the HR budget, staff, and systems to sustain high operational standards.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human resources, labor relations, business administration or closely related field. (required)
Eight (8) years of progressively more responsible management in human resources, preferably in a public agency or governmental setting. (required)
A graduate degree or designation as a Senior Professional in Human Resources Management (SPHR) and/or International Public Management Association Certified Professional in Human Resources (IPMA-CP). (preferred)
Experience in working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels.
Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of HR administration.
Expertise in directing, organizing, and motivating HR professionals in executing HR related functions.
Experience in providing strategic direction and organizational initiatives on cultural competency and diversity.
