$100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Responsibilities
Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to a multidisciplinary team of counselors, therapists, and support staff in delivering high-quality substance abuse treatment services. Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and treatment protocols that are evidence-based and align with best practices in the field of addiction treatment. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies and procedures related to clinical services, documentation, and confidentiality. Conduct regular clinical supervision sessions, case consultations, and performance evaluations for staff members, providing feedback, support, and professional development opportunities as needed. Collaborate with medical staff, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to integrate medical and behavioral health services and address co-occurring disorders in the treatment of substance use disorders. Oversee the intake and assessment process for new clients, ensuring thorough evaluations and individualized treatment planning based on comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments. Monitor client progress and outcomes, track treatment metrics, and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical services. Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning for clients in acute distress or at risk of harm to themselves or others. Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducational workshops, and family therapy sessions to address issues related to addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and interpersonal dynamics. Collaborate with community partners, referral sources, and stakeholders to enhance access to care, coordinate services, and promote collaboration in addressing substance abuse issues at the local level. Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work (LMSW or LCSW) from an accredited program. Current licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of practice. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a substance abuse or mental health setting, with demonstrated expertise in clinical supervision, program development, and staff management. Strong knowledge of addiction treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-informed care. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to build rapport, lead teams, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Commitment to cultural competence, diversity, equity, and inclusion in providing services to individuals from diverse backgrounds and marginalized communities. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, data analysis, and reporting purposes.
