Position Overview The U.S. Chamber of Commerce seeks a collaborative, execution-focused Vice President of Marketing. The VP will partner with the Marketing Leadership team to shape and deliver the Chamber’s marketing strategy, lead integrated campaigns, and support member engagement and advocacy.
Responsibilities
Partner with the Marketing Leadership team to co‑develop the Chamber’s marketing strategy and translate enterprise priorities into actionable plans.
Lead execution and operationalization of integrated marketing campaigns supporting member engagement, advocacy, and organization priorities.
Co‑create campaign briefs and implementation across channels (digital, events, content, paid/owned/earned) ensuring brand alignment.
Develop and optimize digital marketing programs, leveraging data‑driven insights to improve targeting, performance, and reach.
Collaborate with internal partners—communications, government affairs, membership—to maintain consistent messaging and branding.
Manage the marketing budget to maximize impact and ROI.
Oversee production of marketing materials, including digital content, print collateral, and multimedia assets.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and agencies.
Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing clear reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices to keep the Chamber at the forefront of marketing innovation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role, preferably within a membership‑based organization or advocacy group.
Deep understanding of digital marketing, branding, and content strategy with a data‑informed approach.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, inspiring and coaching a high‑performing team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with success collaborating across diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated budget stewardship and ability to deliver measurable results.
Strategic thinker and hands‑on operator who excels at translating strategy into plans and outcomes.
Familiarity with the business and policy landscape is a plus.
Salary & Benefits Salary range: $173,774.00 – $225,000.00, with potential discretionary bonus. Full‑time employees are eligible for health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
