We are seeking a well‑trained Nurse Practitioner to join the Department of Psychiatry at HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley (HAHV) in Kingston, NY, a part of Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth). The ideal candidate will have a track record of clinical accomplishments in the treatment of patients with serious mental illness and will provide emergency and consulting psychiatric services primarily to adult patients in crisis, but also to children and adolescents.
Responsibilities
Provide triage, diagnostic evaluations, prescribing, and care transitions as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Review patients’ medication records to determine the appropriateness of the existing medication regimen.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Nursing.
Nurse Practitioner certification in Psychiatry.
Valid New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner.

Facility Information Through major capital investments, WMCHealth has reimagined its HAHV hospital on Mary’s Avenue in Kingston. In 2022, HAHV opened a newly constructed 25,000‑square‑foot emergency care center, a new, modern family birthing center, and a new intensive care unit equipped with today’s latest technology. By 2025, the hospital will also be treating adults in a newly renovated 20‑bed inpatient psychiatry unit, which will complement its existing psychiatric emergency program and its adult and adolescent partial hospitalization programs, and further expand treatment for mental illness in Ulster County. In addition to its expanded hospital on Mary’s Avenue in Kingston, HAHV also provides services at its nearby Broadway Campus, and operates Margaretville Hospital and Mountainside Residential Care Center in Margaretville.
