In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA), we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability.
We are seeking an experienced People Manager to lead and manage a small team of Systems Engineers at BAE Systems. The successful candidate will have a well-rounded Systems Engineering background with a focus on RF / EW products to provide direct program support and manage employee performance, set goals, and provide regular feedback to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
In this Role You will support CEMA program execution in a Systems Engineering Role developing RF / EW solutions for the warfighter. As well as supervise a small team of Systems Engineering direct reports providing coaching and mentoring to team members to help them develop new skills and achieve their career goals. You will partner with CEMA product Line Leadership to effectively staff programs, manager utilization, support bids proposals and support the realization of strategic goals.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
BS degree in a STEM field in addition to 10 Years of relevant industry/military experience
Pervious experience as a Program Systems Engineering Lead, SEIT Lead or IV&V Lead
10 years on Systems Engineering experience on EW, EA or EOIR Systems
Pervious Industry or Military experience with People Management
SECRET collateral Clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Pervious experience as a Program Systems Engineering Lead, SEIT Lead or IV&V Lead
Demonstrated success in leading Systems Engineering Teams through major program milestones such as, SRR. SFR, PDR and CDR
Active TOP SECRET collateral Clearance (or Higher)
Partial Experience with Cost Account / Earned Value Management
Experience using laboratory instrumentation (e.g. spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal & waveform generators) in an academic or commercial environment
Experience creating and maintaining link budgets and analysis related to EW or EOIR systems
Experience with I&T / Field testing RF or EOIR Systems in remote environments
Conducting trade studies, modeling and simulation, and other forms of analysis
Experience with designing, testing, and/or prototyping RF and EOIR Systems
Test equipment automation
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $146,670 - $249,330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
