Compensation Base pay range: $135,000 – $180,000 per year.
Responsibilities
Deliver high‑quality designs and deliverables on technically challenging projects.
Manage projects, write proposals, maintain positive client relationships.
Provide engineering design work and drafting of plans.
Implement approved system concepts from schematic diagram to floor plans.
Sketch rough layouts for review with Project Engineer or Project Manager.
Review product cut sheets and technical information.
Communicate with Project Manager/Project Engineer regarding potential problems.
Meet with vendors to determine spatial requirements for the application of the product.
Attend meetings as required.
Submit required documentation per project deadlines and milestones.
Attend in‑house coordination meetings when appropriate.
Develop a strategy to meet project schedules.
Assist in developing engineering systems concepts (M/E).
Assist the design team on major design issues.
Organize required technical correspondence, emails, and calculations.
Perform fieldwork and verify existing conditions.
Essential Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of engineering concepts, design, and spatial requirements.
OSHPD 1 project experience.
Professional conduct and presentation.
Positive attitude, result‑driven and team‑oriented.
Ability to think three‑dimensionally.
Capable of visiting job sites to perform fieldwork.
Detail oriented and deadline‑driven.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
PE license.
15–25 years of related experience.
