Credit, Risk, and Decision Sciences Consultant
A leading global financial institution is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to join its hedge funds risk team. This role sits within the second line of defense and focuses on managing counterparty credit risk across hedge funds, fund of hedge funds, proprietary trading groups, and regulated funds. You'll be responsible for conducting deep‑dive due diligence, assigning internal ratings, setting and monitoring credit limits, and negotiating legal terms for complex trading relationships. The position spans multiple asset classes including OTC and listed derivatives, equity and fixed income prime brokerage, and structured fund financing. You'll collaborate closely with trading desks, legal, onboarding, and senior risk stakeholders to ensure exposures remain within appetite and aligned with evolving market conditions. This is a high‑impact role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, analytical, and client‑facing environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct due diligence on hedge funds and fund of hedge funds, including investment and operational risk
Draft internal credit reviews, assign ratings, and recommend trading limits

Negotiate credit terms in ISDA, GMRA, and clearing agreements
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in hedge fund counterparty credit risk or investment risk
Familiarity with OTC derivatives, listed products, and equity prime brokerage
Experience reviewing and negotiating legal documentation (ISDA, GMRA, term sheets, etc.)
Strong analytical and statistical skills; comfort with performance metrics and stress testing
