Base pay range $47,740.00/yr - $63,313.80/yr
Job Description As part of the CNC Programming group, you will create and modify CNC programs for lathes, mills, press brakes, punch presses, lasers, waterjets, and other equipment. You will work with drawings and blueprints—both hand‑drawn and CAD generated—to maintain high quality and productivity standards while following safety practices.
Hours
6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Monday - Friday)
Overtime as needed
Join Our Team as a CNC Programmer – Basic To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about CNC programming and capable of working closely with programmers, machinists, engineers, designers and production personnel. Strong verbal communication and a collaborative mindset are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Creating and modifying 2D sketches using Solid Edge CAD
Creating and modifying basic 3D part models using Solid Edge CAD
Creating 2D DXF files from Solid Edge models and other files
Developing and maintaining tooling standards, and tool code drawings
Selecting appropriate tools, feeds, and speeds for machining
Generating G and M machine code with CAM software
Basic programming of robotic equipment applications
Investigating trends in cutting tool applications
Exploring new technologies for tooling and processing methods
Troubleshooting existing and new CNC programs with factory personnel
Performing associated data tasks in Oracle and 3DX applications
What You Will Need To Succeed
Certificate in CNC/CAM or related field (or pursuit of one)
1+ year of experience with metal cutting/forming operations
1+ year of experience operating or programming machining equipment
Experience performing offline CNC programming for sheet metal, lathes, or mills
Ability to read blueprints, perform shop math, and use inspection tools
Good interpersonal skills to work with engineers, designers, and machinists
Experience with SolidEdge 3D modeling or equivalent CAD software
Preferred: programming robotic applications
Required
High School diploma

Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Attend in‑person or virtual meetings as requested
Communicate effectively and respectfully with others
Other responsibilities as assigned
MAJOR PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Standing: occasional during program proofs at machines
Lifting: occasional light lifting of parts
Walking: frequent, moderate distances (≈1 mile) within the S&C complex
Carrying: occasional carrying of CNC tools or parts short distances
Reaching: occasional reaching to investigate parts in machines
Handling: occasional handling of CNC tools or parts
Frequent use of computer workstation monitor, keyboard, and mouse
