Associate Event Technology Manager (Event Registration Experience Preferred)

Location:

New York City (hybrid – 2× a week in NY office) or remote; must reside in the EST time zone. Overview:

The Associate Event Technology Manager supports clients within FIRST Solutions, a proprietary strategic meetings management model. The role focuses on assisting event teams with registration website management, technology platform integration, data governance, and event analytics to ensure seamless event delivery for both virtual and in‑person events. Responsibilities: Advise on pre‑event and onsite registration user experience for virtual and in‑person events. Lead the implementation and project management of event registration websites, mobile app builds, and related technology assets. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues during the event lifecycle. Manage client communications related to save‑the‑dates, invitations, registrations, confirmations, and other event touchpoints. Maintain accurate databases, perform data cleansing, and generate lists and reports. Respond to client queries within agreed service level agreements. Collaborate with the event delivery team on logistics, production, and implementation. Coordinate name badges, tent cards, place cards, departure notices, emails, agenda, signage, and other event artifacts. Design and set up registration desk flows. Create and distribute post‑event client surveys. Assist with mobile app planning and build, depending on platform. Provide data manipulation for team insights and event analytics. Identify cost savings and value‑adds for clients. Travel 15–20% annually for on‑site event management. Qualifications: 2‑4+ years of experience in event technology and attendee management. Strong working knowledge of Cvent FLEX. Bachelor’s degree preferred. General knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus. Experience with registration platforms such as Cvent, Bizzabo, Certain, Qualtrics, etc. Experience with virtual event platforms (Intrado, GlobalMeet / TalkPoint, Zoom, WebEx, SpotMe, Concise Chime, etc.) preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP), and PowerPoint. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
