*Job Summary*
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, load unloading, and adherence to safety regulations. The Truck Driver will operate different types of trucks, including those with refrigerated trailers , ensuring timely delivery of freight while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
*Responsibilities* * Operate trucks in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. * Safely transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely deliveries. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. * Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. * Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and operational procedures. * Manage routes efficiently to minimize delays and optimize fuel consumption.
*Experience* * Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with refrigerated trailers * Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. * Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is highly desirable. * Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and logistics operations. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
