Supply Chain Procurement Specialist Level 2
located in
Redondo Beach, CA; Chandler, AZ; Dulles, VA; or Baltimore, MD , you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. Although this position offers FT remote work, you are required to be located close to one of our major Space locations noted above.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept
Develop RFQ utilizing specifications, statements of work, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, components, and assemblies.
Prepare bid packages, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate PO provisions, administer resulting PO and ensure on-time delivery.
Manage performance of Purchase Orders and assigned suppliers, ensure compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations.
Coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders such as contracts, engineering, quality, planning, operations, program, and end-users.
In conjunction with the quality organization, evaluate and monitor supplier quality and reliability, as well as supplier ability to support required delivery schedules.
Identify strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and manage risk through proactive supplier management.
Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree; In lieu of degree, 4 additional years of experience will be considered.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovation behaviors in past projects, roles or experience.
Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to keep multiple priorities moving forward.
Experience in an MRP system, SAP, CostPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with large dollar, complex purchases including subcontracts and long-term agreements.
Experience procuring in an engineering development environment.
Experience in machining, forgings, extrusions, composites or raw material commodities.
Experience leading negotiations with suppliers.
Basic comprehension of technical drawings and documents.
Knowledge of government contracting requirements and regulations.

Primary Level Salary Range: $58,000.00 – $100,700.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
