Construction Management Associate
The Construction Management Associate assists the Construction Manager in all aspects of construction projects, including General Contracting, Patch and Repair Projects, and TremCares. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, or WTI Technician to ensure safe execution and adherence to contractual obligations; participating in onsite meetings; developing scope of work; reviewing proposals and specifications; completing project schedules; assembling submittals; obtaining building permits; and finalizing project close‑out documents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Contribute to and validate proposals and specifications.
Conceptual Phase (specification development, establishment of milestone dates)
Program Planning Phase
Design Phase
Proposal Phase
Construction Phase
Conduct Pre‑Construction activities
Effective Close‑Out
Cost Estimates and Schedules
Use eBuilder for all project documentation per policy manual.
Assist the Construction Manager in tracking project costs, budget variances, and profitability.
Accountable for Quality Assurance.
Ensure subcontractors have submitted required documents.
Establish timelines and goals.
Manage key metrics and report as required.
Coordinate with Program Managers, Project Administrators, Project Estimators, Specification Writers, Sales Representatives, and RBM when needed.
Assist in reviewing submitted proposals and contractor interviews for specification and contractual compliance.
Review line‑item generated proposal documents.
Direct Project Superintendents as needed.

Specification Development Stage
Works with the Construction Manager and Sales Representative to establish a scope of work for the project.
Complete specification request and related documents.
Responsible for specification review as required by the Construction Manager.
Pre‑Proposal Stage
Conduct Pre‑Proposal Meeting and distribute completed documentation to all applicable parties.
Assist the Construction Manager in reviewing proposals.
Prepare Proposal Documents as directed by the Construction Manager.
Pre‑Construction Stage
Publish Project Schedule.
Assist the Construction Manager in planning and coordinating the Pre‑Construction Meeting.
Engage with the Project Superintendent to provide necessary project information.
Conduct Pre‑Construction Meeting and distribute completed documentation to all applicable parties.
Obtain a Building Permit when required.
Construction Stage
Review Daily Inspection Forms and ensure they are distributed to all applicable parties and uploaded into project files.
Visit the site as necessary or directed by the Construction Manager.
Conduct weekly Progress Meetings, virtual or onsite, and distribute minutes to all applicable parties.
Maintain the Project Schedule and update it weekly.
Perform site audits as appropriate.
Review subcontractor payment requests with the Construction Manager.
Assemble AIA billing applications for the Construction Manager's review and approval.
Assist Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, Subcontractor, Owner, or Sales Representative as needed.
Close‑Out Stage
Assist the Construction Manager in coordinating the final inspection.
Ensure all required documents are uploaded into the project files.
Other Requirements
Ability to travel out of town, which may include overnight travel.
Must have transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to work weekends and/or holidays if needed.
Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Salary Range The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $55,000 and $68,000.
