About the role: Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our dynamic Rooms team as a Hotel Assistant Manager. The Hotel Assistant Manager leads the Front Office team and operations to deliver the best service in accordance to Four Seasons' standards, supports our Guest Experience and Concierge departments, and acts as the manager on duty in the hotel when senior managers are not available.

What you will do:

Manage Front Office, Guest Services and Concierge staff (in absence of Concierge)

Interview, train and schedule staff, as well as conduct performance evaluations when needed

Coordinatearrivals, departures and billing requirements with Sales and Catering Department

Block rooms for arrivals and ensuring any discrepancies are resolved. Review daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of special attention guests, return guests, and groups.

Monitor and assess revenue opportunities for the hotel, maximizing red date conversion and keeping team on track to meet upsell goals

Establish training and accountability within the team to achieve high results above benchmarks

Assure that all financial and credit procedures are followed. Following up on credit problems with Front Office/Front Desk Manager or Credit Manager. Reviewing all pay-outs, rebates, petty cash disbursements and direct billings

Check cashiers’ work at end of shift to ensure all transactions are reconciled with proper approvals and endorsements

Answer guest calls and direct them appropriately in the absence of a Hotel Communications Agent

What you Bring:

Excellent written and verbal grammar and composition skills

1‑2 years in a Front Office supervisory role or Concierge position. Preferred experience in a luxury hotel

Knowledge of the city, activities, and restaurants. Willing to experience various restaurants and/or activities in the city to gain more knowledge of venues

Works harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors

Ability to multi‑task in a high‑volume environment, utilizing a variety of computer systems to check in and out, run daily reports, select/assign rooms arriving guests, and restaurant/activity/spareservation systems

This position is a full‑time role. Candidates must be able to work a flexible work schedule including Mornings, Days, evenings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
