Global Basketball Merchant
We are seeking a
Global Basketball Merchant
to join our dynamic merchandising and marketing team. This role plays a pivotal part in driving global merchandising strategies, building product line plans, and managing category growth initiatives across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented, collaborative, and passionate about consumer trends and product storytelling in the sports and lifestyle category.
Base Pay $30.00/hr – $32.00/hr
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage 3-year global line plans and product journeys across all regions and categories.
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners in Product, Brand, Planning, Consumer Insights, and Geo Merchandising to align global strategies.
Maintain and communicate seasonal merchandising tools, assortments, and key reports.
Analyze consumer, category, and marketplace trends to inform product and assortment strategies.
Support the execution of category marketing initiatives that align with global brand direction.
Foster strong communication across teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Who You Will Work With You will work closely with cross‑functional teams including Consumer Planning, Product Creation, Regional Merchandising, and Marketing, as well as internal and external stakeholders to deliver compelling product assortments and consumer experiences.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Buying, or Marketplace Operations.
Proven understanding of consumer behavior, retail, and market dynamics.
Strong analytical and reporting skills to evaluate business and consumer trends.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities for cross‑functional collaboration.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Entrepreneurial mindset with experience supporting new concepts or category initiatives.
A team‑first attitude with strong collaboration and problem‑solving skills.
