Responsibilities
Perform field and laboratory testing for building envelope, forensic investigation, and specialized testing.
Assist with preparation of reports, proposals, and project documentation.
Interact with senior staff on a variety of projects.
Schedule and oversee facilities technicians.
Promote a safe workplace and proper use of PPE.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
B.Arch or M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by NAAB or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related degree preferred.
0-2 years of relevant building facilities consulting experience required.
In lieu of education, 4 years as ECS Facilities Staff Associate or equivalent combination of experience, certification, and education required.
Experience with non-destructive testing preferred.
Professional certifications such as NRCA/IIBEC, AWCI Certified EIFS Inspector preferred.
Facilities certifications required for all types of testing performed, in accordance with the Technician Certification and Pay Policy.
