What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Schedule patient appointments and provide customer service functions including patient reception and appointment check-in
Verify patient insurance information and address any related inquiries
Manage high call volumes while ensuring efficient appointment scheduling
Assist patients with any scheduling-related issues or concerns
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient appointments
What is Required (Qualifications)
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two years of experience in direct customer/patient service, or one year within the employer's Radiology Department
Must reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota, with a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
Ability to handle high call volumes in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Two years of post-secondary education in healthcare or business administration
Experience in a high-volume call center, especially in a healthcare setting
Familiarity with healthcare scheduling processes
Proficiency in using Epic electronic medical record systems
