Cut Fresh LLC Production Supervisor 2nd Shift Bilingual (ENG/SP)
Overview Cut Fresh is a premier supplier of fresh cut produce in Wisconsin. We offer a family‑owned environment that rewards hard work and dedication. Our customers include restaurants, country clubs, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes.
Position Description 2nd shift (4:00 pm – 1:00 am), Sunday through Friday (not every Sunday). The Production Supervisor will supervise hourly employees, manage material ordering, and support production scheduling.
Responsibilities
Coaching and directing hourly employees to meet production schedules.
Evaluating performance and providing training.
Directing the production crew while maintaining GMP and HACCP standards.
Resolving production‑related problems and monitoring adherence to the HACCP program.
Overseeing pre‑operational setup and equipment adjustments.
Participating in safety/environment audits and championing safety activities.
Contributing to production scheduling and headcount planning.
Monitoring raw material needs and supply.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and product specifications.
Addressing employee relations issues and enforcing safety regulations.
Maintaining department time and production records.
Coordinating activities with other supervisors.
Performing duties of supervised employees as needed.
Tracking cost savings and recommending projects to improve production methods.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, climb, reach overhead, bend to the floor. Must lift 25 pounds frequently. Production environment 90% of the time (wet environment, temperatures
Qualifications / Education / Experience / Skills
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s in Food Science preferred.
Previous management experience required.
Bilingual – English/Spanish required.
Preferred experience in the Fruit and Produce Processing Industry.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting and record‑keeping.
Reasoning ability: define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions.
Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms.
Wage commensurate with experience.
