Medical Social Worker LCSW – Part Time, Emergency Department HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's, part of HCA Healthcare, is looking for a competent Medical Social Worker LCSW to join our emergency department. This role is a part‑time position with 10‑hour shifts on Monday/Tuesday with rotating Saturday or Saturday/Sunday weekend shifts, depending on scheduling needs.

Hourly Wage Estimate:

$29.72 – $46.60 per hour.

Job Summary and Qualifications The Social Worker (MSW) is responsible for non‑clinical biopsychosocial assessments and interventions for inpatient floors and the outpatient emergency department. The MSW performs crisis intervention, patient/family interventions, high‑risk screening, focused emotional supports, and referrals for financial assistance or other identified resource needs. The role also assists in post‑acute care placement on discharges and arranges Family Care Conferences to support patient, family, and discharge planning goals. The MSW maintains knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and private payer regulations and processes, and manages length‑of‑stay for fiscal responsibility. The scope includes intensive care units, trauma, oncology, NICU, transplant, ED and responds to physician consults throughout the facility.

Master’s Degree in Social Work required.

One (1) year or more experience or MSW internship required.

Currently licensed as a Registered Master of Social Work in the state(s) of practice; required in NV per state regulations.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCWS) required.

Certification in Social Work preferred.
