The George Washington University Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical Surgical Unit. Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients under the supervision of an RN.

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.

Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient responses.

Provide emotional support to patients and families.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Completion of CNA certification course, Medical Assistant Course, or (2) years of nursing school.

At least 6 months of recent patient care experience in a healthcare facility setting.

Acute Care experience preferred.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of medical terminology.
