Job Summary The Floor Technician is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all flooring surfaces within a facility, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and vacuuming floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Location 875 Chesterfield Parkway, West Chesterfield, MO 63017

Payrate $19 hourly (variable based on experience, skills, location, and market data)

Shift Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm

Basic Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

No experience required; on‑the‑job training provided

No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications

Customer service experience

1 year of similar work experience

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain various types of flooring (tile, carpet, hardwood, concrete, etc.)

Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, extractors, and vacuums

Strip, wax, and polish floors as needed

Spot clean carpets and perform deep carpet cleaning

Follow safety procedures and use appropriate signage when working

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors

Ensure compliance with company standards and health regulations

Additional Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous experience in floor care or janitorial services is a plus

Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Physical stamina for manual labor and lifting heavy equipment

Good communication and time‑management skills

Work Environment

May involve working evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts

Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
