Overview
This position is for a Shift Manager at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters.
Responsibilities
Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to uphold Quality, Service and Cleanliness standards.
Plan shifts, monitor performance, take corrective action, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to facilitate smooth handoffs.
Maintain food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, crew management, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, scheduling, and training.
Help assigned departments meet their goals and achieve target metrics.
Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age.
Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for the fast‑paced McDonald’s environment.
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a safe, secure, and profitable shift.
