Position Summary
Leading the electrical commodity procurement team, the Sourcing Leader - Electronics is responsible for developing and executing tactical and strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve superior commercial value, supplier performance, and innovation for the Defense Systems Division at Parker Hannifin. Essential Functions
Develop and execute supplier sourcing strategies, negotiate long‑term agreements, and perform price and quality justification for the electrical commodity. Maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and manage supplier development programs to maximize value from incumbents and alternate suppliers. Act as the functional liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and the procurement team for new product introduction (NPI) programs and supplier integration. Supervise, train, evaluate, and motivate a team of commodity buyers to achieve departmental and company goals. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent; 7–10 years of procurement, material planning, or sourcing experience in a high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of UCC/FAR, DFAR requirements and procurement of PCB/PCBA, MIL‑SPEC electronic components, and electro‑mechanical assemblies. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Travel
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally to resolve suppliers’ issues, if applicable. Competitive Compensation
Pay Range: $100,300 to $166,900 annually. Participation in Annual Incentive Program. Benefit & Retirement Plans
