Logistics Specialist (Ingot/Wafer)
Location: Cartersville, GA. Salary: $45,000.00–$60,000.00.
Summary The Logistics Specialist (Ingot/Wafer) will be responsible for Hanwha Qcells Georgia Inc.’s internal raw material and 3PL management tasks. This individual will organize, control, and monitor logistics activities of Ingot and Wafer raw materials such as Poly silicon, Crucible, Hotzone, seed, Glue, Beam, Wire, Coolant, etc. The individual will work in a cross‑functional team environment within the 3PL service provider, Hanwha Qcells Georgia Inc., Hanwha Qcells USA Inc., and other subsidiaries of the Hanwha Group.
Responsibilities
Verify the accuracy of STO by analyzing the internal warehouse raw material inventory
Access inventory accuracy control by computerizing real‑life mismatch inventory management and identify causes and warehouse movement
Manage, monitor, and operate GR accuracy reports when moving at different locations (CY, external warehouse, internal warehouse, production line)
Manage internal and external warehouse FIFO by checking aging report’s GR date and material classification date
Manage both raw material and finished goods inventory through SAP and physical inventory matching
Monitor 3PL activities regarding inventory receipt processes, storage, cycle counting, kitting, pick & pack, and deliveries for all products and related SAP transactions daily
Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management
Analyze operations on a continuing basis and make necessary improvements to ensure operating efficiencies across all functions
Maintain Logistics master‑data
Manage, monitor, and report KPIs for the Logistics Team and 3PL
Revise and establish operational procedures for overall logistics operation
Ensure 3PL follow housekeeping practices, safety rules, and customer requirements
Conduct weekly stock counting and promote usage within shell life at the internal and external warehouse with 3PL
Manage dangerous goods by conducting weekly stock counting and promote usage within material shelf‑life
Pursue improvement for the inventory and logistics systems by giving updates and suggestions
Operate and manage on‑site by identifying and responding to operational issues related to raw materials
Frequently communicate with internal stakeholders, especially in urgent situations concerning inventory quantity identification
Attend and prepare reports for weekly and monthly meetings
Support and engage actively with teammates’ related work
Other duties may be assigned that pertain to the classification
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, SCM, Business Management or related fields
At least 3 years of warehouse management related experience
Strong knowledge of logistics, internal and external warehouse
Ability to travel overseas and domestically
Ability to work autonomously in a fast pace, professional, team environment with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately for project schedules and other deadlines
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Korean and English, both spoken and written
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing industries, especially in renewable energy
Excellent computer literacy with an advanced knowledge in SAP and Microsoft office
Knowledge of CPIM, CSCP, SCM and logistics
Experience in high‑volume and multi‑site distribution with a solid understanding of FMS, TMS/EPR systems
Work Environment Office business setting or construction worksite as needed.
