Join our team as a relationship-oriented Indirect Dealer Partner at IHMVCU! The role spends most of the time out in the field with our dealership network and uses our beautiful headquarters on River Drive in Moline, IL as a place to land and connect with the rest of the Indirect team. Headquarters has a comfortable office environment, on‑site gym facility and plenty of collaborative team members.

Summary of Position The Indirect Dealer Partner is responsible for managing and growing the Credit Union's indirect auto lending relationships. This role focuses on developing and maintaining dealership relationships, educating dealers on credit union products and services, analyzing their service needs to identify sales opportunities, ensuring a seamless loan application process, driving quality volume, and ensuring program compliance. Facilitates dealer onboarding, monitors performance, and collaborates with the team to optimize the program’s success.

Candidate Skills & Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.

At least three years of proven successful sales history, prior dealership experience and/or a combination of relevant experience.

Understanding of indirect lending, dealership financing processes and loan underwriting policies.

Proven strong communication, relationship management, negotiation, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain positive relationships with key personnel at dealerships.

Drive loan volume growth by cultivating quality applications from dealers.

Attend industry events, dealership meetings and trade association functions to expand business opportunities.

Prepare and deliver presentations to dealerships on program benefits and best practices.

Act as a liaison to resolve issues.

Conduct dealer due diligence and assist dealers in staying compliant with policies and procedures.

Act as a backup to other areas of indirect lending when needed.

Physical Requirements

Sitting: Sedentary work involving sitting most of the time, with occasional walking and standing.

Talking: Clear oral communication of instructions and information.

Hearing: Ability to perceive sounds at normal speaking levels.

Use of fingers and hand: Picking, pinching, typing, handling objects.

Lifting: Up to 10 lbs.

Visual acuity: Needed for data analysis, computer use, reading, operating motor vehicles.
