Job Details:

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required

• Level I trauma experience preferred, Level II trauma experience required (>1 year)

• Previous travel experience required

• Must function independently in all specialties: Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma

• Must be proficient with DaVinci Xi robot and bonus for DV5 DaVinci robot familiarity

• Must be proficient with robotic general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology specialties

• Prefer RNs who can both scrub and circulate

• Call requirements: 4-6 calls within 6-week matrix with 30-minute response time required

• Weekend requirements: 4-6 weekend shifts within 6-week matrix (can be days, evenings, or nights)

• Holiday coverage as needed, expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays

• No block scheduling including floating block

• Floating as needed

• Patient ratio 1:1 for all shifts

• Care for patients of all ages: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Daily census 50-60 patients with 18 operating rooms

• EPIC charting system experience heavily preferred

• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)

• RTO maximum 7 days per contract

• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable)

• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

• Manager interview required

• Clean nursing license required (no license hits accepted)

The facility maintains Level I trauma capabilities and features advanced robotic surgical technology including DaVinci Xi and DV5 systems. The organization provides extensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and various other clinical support departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
