As a Process Engineer you’ll work both in the field and at our Philippi, WV facility, supporting projects that involve installing, maintaining, and improving odorization systems for the natural gas and propane industries. Expect a mix of hands‑on technical work, project design, problem‑solving, and nationwide travel.

What You’ll Do

Support the installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of natural gas odorization systems, including tanks, lines, and odorizers.

Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on odorization and related equipment.

Safely perform odorant transfers and assist with odorant spill remediation.

Set up and monitor MRR equipment for natural gas pipeline pickling projects.

Develop Procedures of Work (POWs) for upcoming jobs and review with technicians.

Design, quote, and manage projects from setup to reporting and invoicing.

Train and support technicians while gaining leadership and project management experience.

Travel across the U.S. for field assignments (approximately 50%), by vehicle or air.

Complete required documentation, including work orders, DOT logs, and expense reports.

Maintain strict compliance with DOT, OSHA, and MRR safety standards.

Who You Are You’re a mechanically minded, problem‑solving engineer who enjoys working both in the field and on technical systems. You’re eager to learn, flexible with travel, and motivated by hands‑on, impactful work.

Required

2‑year engineering degree required (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical preferred); 4‑year degree a plus.

Strong mechanical skills and technical understanding, including:

Ability to interpret diagrams and schematics involving tanks, pumps, and valves.

Understanding of pumping principles, pressure, and flow.

Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical assembly.

Electrical aptitude, including troubleshooting and calibrating sensors and equipment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; AutoCAD or Visio a plus.

Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively within a team.

Organized, resourceful, and self‑motivated with strong problem‑solving ability.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; must be 23 years of age (insurance requirement).

Willingness to travel nationwide up to 50%, sometimes with short notice.
