Responsibilities
Implement occupational therapy programs and activities to help patients regain function.
Follow recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
Address the whole patient and tailor interventions to individual needs.
Collaborate with peers and coordinate referrals to ensure comprehensive care.
Prioritize patient safety and ensure high‑quality service in a caring and compassionate environment.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
