SCRI conducts leading oncology research and trials to redefine cancer care globally. Responsibilities

Support Clinical Research Operations from a financial perspective with accurate analyses, effective reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and insightful financial advice. Develop departmental budgets and variance analyses using historical data to propose recommendations. Manage cost view, budgeting, and month-end analysis; analyze variances to standard and identify root causes. Analyze historical trends and project future performance using cause-and-effect relationships. Develop forecasting models with variance analyses and data-driven recommendations. Prepare Monthly Operating Reports for executive management with data and root-cause analysis. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. 3+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst in pharmaceutical, clinical research, healthcare, or medical device sectors. Experience with healthcare/clinical research business models and performance metrics; strong financial and accounting concepts in this industry. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; proficient in data extraction and analysis software. Effective presentation skills with the ability to convey insights convincingly. Curiosity about cause and effect; ability to build models and derive insights from data. About Sarah Cannon Research Institute
