College Admissions Recruiter – P03500
At Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025, we are excited to announce a full-time opening for the position of College Admissions Recruiter – P03500 with Recruiting and Admissions. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.
What You’ll Do As a College Admissions Recruiter, you will perform work pertaining to student advisement and assessment with regard to academic programs and College requirements.
Day‑to‑day Responsibilities
Plan and attend college recruiting activities including college fairs and outreach activities on TSC’s campuses and in the community.
Provide outreach and recruitment support for distance education, degree and certificate programs, and off‑site service centers; communicate with prospective students in person, on the phone, and virtually; coordinate tracking and communications with students during the admissions process; guide students through the application, admission, orientation, and registration processes; provide pre‑collegiate and career advising to prospective students; manage ongoing contact and good public relations with students, staff and the community; supervise student ambassadors and coordinate campus tours.
Review and interpret placement and other standardized test scores, unofficial transcripts, and course prerequisites; interpret degree audits; provide guidance on degree/certificate graduation requirements; provide students with appropriate paths of study to achieve their educational goals; assist with high school and home school dual enrollment registration and advising each semester.
Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of related experience.
Master’s degree may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
