Job Summary And Qualifications Assists the Physician in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

Position Requirements Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license, or current registration as Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT), or current certification as Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

Current AHA or ARC BCLS certification

Current AHA or ARC ACLS certification

Education:

Graduate of a 2-year Associate Degree/Diploma (BSN preferred), accredited RTR and/or RCIS training program.

Experience:

2 years' experience in critical care nursing preferred (RN).

2 years' experience in interventional radiology procedures (RTR) preferred.

2 years' experience in cardiovascular lab setting preferred (RCIS).

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Available to fulfill the department requirements of being on‑call for afterhours emergency procedures and be with in the required thirty‑minute response time.

Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the Standards of Nursing Practice at NSMC.

Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills.

Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.

Has patient assessment knowledge and ability.
