Job Summary:

In-Home Therapy involves structured, strength-based therapeutic relationships between a licensed clinician and youth/family to address behavioral health needs, improve family support, and promote healthy functioning. The clinician reports to a Supervising Licensed, Master Level Clinician, managing a caseload of 5-8 families, collaborating with team members to meet program goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive home-based assessments, including behavioral health assessments and the Massachusetts CANS, in the family’s home or chosen location.

Develop and review youth and family-centered treatment plans with necessary consents and in collaboration with other providers.

Arrange transportation for clients as needed, maintaining valid driver’s license and insurance.

Create risk management and safety plans with the youth and family.

Provide intensive family therapy using various techniques and evidence-based interventions to improve problem-solving, communication, and family dynamics.

Identify community resources and develop natural supports to sustain treatment goals.

Support crisis/emergency services through various contact methods; bill all crisis-related time appropriately.

Collaborate with other professionals involved with the youth and family, such as case managers, court officers, teachers, and physicians.

Report emergencies or critical incidents to the agency.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a human service field (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology) from an accredited institution.

Training and experience in family therapy and working with youth and families.

Experience navigating child/family-serving systems and advocating for involved family members.

Innovative, creative, analytical, and decisive problem-solving skills.

Strong communication, organizational, and administrative capabilities.

Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and community agencies.

Willingness to be part of a 24/7 program supporting youth and families.

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
