Human Resources Coordinator FanDuel is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR Operations team. In this key role, you will play a pivotal part in our employee life cycle events and serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries. The ideal will be a proactive problem-solver, eager to learn, possess a keen eye for process improvement, and demonstrate a robust technical skill set.

Responsibilities

Communicate with the broader HR team to ensure consistency of policies, practices, and operations.

Respond to employee inquiries by providing information, guidance, and direction on programs, processes, and procedures.

Serve as a main point of contact for employee data and maintain digital employee files, ensuring up-to-date and accurate data.

Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to onboard new employees, executing the record creation, document collection, and proper completion of i9 process.

Ensure that all new hire paperwork is completed in accordance with our onboarding policies and procedures within employees’ first week of employment.

Independently process employee transactions and maintain employee data including pay changes, internal transfers and promotions withinIS.

Coordinate and deliver new hire orientation, generating new ideas and making improvements to existing processes to create an engaging and seamless start to new hires in their rookie season.

Partner with the HRBP team to offboard employees, inclusive of termination in the HRIS system, and create state and federal required documentation.

Collaborate with the team to define, document, and optimize HR processes while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and labor laws.

Contribute to the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of HR policies and programs, including creating process documentation, SOPs, flowcharts and FAQs.

Produce and complete ad‑hoc requests and reporting needs as applicable.

Other duties may be assigned to fulfill FanDuel’s objectives and/or job duties; requirements may be changed as needed to meet current and future business needs.

Qualifications

Minimum 1+ year of Human Resources related experience preferred.

Ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly.

Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships.

Detail‑oriented with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.

Technically savvy with specific experience using Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

A curious thinker with a go‑getter personality.

Proactive, process‑optimization, and data‑driven approach.

Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus.

Compensation The applicable hourly range for this position is \$29.33 - \$36.54 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. It may also be eligible for short‑term or long‑term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
