Job Overview
Optometrist – Full‑Time/Part‑Time – Mt. Clemens, MI (Eyes On Eyecare)
Salary: Based on experience.
Responsibilities
Provide primary optometric care including comprehensive eye exams.
Diagnose and manage glaucoma, age‑related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts.
Prescribe ophthalmic medications and oversee pre‑ and post‑operative surgical care.
Recommend and fit contact lenses and eyeglass frames.
Participate in a new‑graduate mentorship program, when applicable.
Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree or pending.
Valid state license to practice optometry (or pending).
Excellent clinical skills and a patient‑focused attitude.
Ability to work flexibly in a fast‑paced environment.
Team‑player mentality.
Schedule & Benefits
Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm (1 late night per week). Closed Sundays.
