BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Critical Care team in Midtown, NY!
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring unstable patients, managing ventilators, and providing advanced nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Inducing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia; triaging emergency cases; assisting specialists with nursing care; learning and utilizing mechanical ventilation and hi-flow therapy.
Performing digital radiography, understanding vital signs, calculating medical math, administering medications, and performing phlebotomy and catheter placements.
Mentoring and training co-workers, addressing client concerns with patience and empathy.
Qualifications:
Current license as a Veterinary Technician.
Strong critical thinking, multitasking skills, and passion for intensive patient care.
Experience with anesthesia, emergency triage, and critical care procedures is preferred.

Up to a $7,000 sign-on bonus.
Competitive pay ranging from $26.75 to $51.00/hour plus shift differentials.
