Job Overview
Position: CT / X‑Ray Technologist (PRN) – Parkland Health Center, 1101 W Liberty St., Farmington, MO. This role is a per‑response, non‑benefits eligible position covering holiday and vacation needs and focuses on advanced imaging modalities such as CT and MRI. The work location serves the Farmington campus and surrounding areas in St. Francois County.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients and equipment for imaging studies.
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures independently, including on‑call situations, portable exams, and other site‑specific requisitions.
Ensure quality control and safety standards for advanced imaging modalities such as CT and MRI.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or equivalent trade‑school education; Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
Experience as a Radiologic Technologist, MRI Technologist, or CT Technologist – new to an experienced candidate base.
Knowledge of CT/MRI, RT, X‑ray, and advanced modality technologist (AMT) procedures.
Valid certifications and licensing as applicable (e.g., IEMA, CPR, IV Therapy). The role is associated with Illinois criteria but will be evaluated on a case‑by‑case basis.
