Unmatched Comp Time Policy: Hours worked over 40 in a week can be reimbursed as additional pay at an equivalent hourly rate or banked as additional PTO.

What are the core responsibilities for the role?
Collect and analyze traffic data and prepare technical reports (e.g., traffic counts, speed studies, traffic signal warrants, crash analysis, etc.)
Support Project Managers and Engineers with engineering design tasks for various projects
Perform civil engineering design and associated calculations and interpret plans from other engineering-related disciplines
Apply technical expertise and be able to work with a project team on conventional and unconventional projects
Perform independent research and delegate changing priorities
Adhere to Horrocks safety standards to uphold a safe and efficient environment
Work in a collaborative team environment and deliver accurate work product that is error-free
Maintain a professional attitude and fulfill responsibilities with integrity
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
B.S. in Civil Engineering – Engineer-In-Training
0-2+ years of experience in civil design is preferred. Entry-level candidates will be considered
Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam
Have a strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
