Job Overview Komatsu leads the construction and heavy equipment industry with cutting‑edge technology and innovative solutions. We are seeking a Field Technician to maintain and repair construction equipment, including trucks, buses, marine and industrial equipment, through extensive training and backed by our OEM products.
Compensation
Hourly Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 depending on experience
Sign‑On Bonus: Up to $8,000

Responsibilities
Travel by operating and maintaining a company vehicle in compliance with company and DOT policies
Perform advanced diagnostic and repair work on heavy equipment (construction, mining, material handling, paving, milling, etc.)
Repair, tear down, rebuild, or replace engines and other major components
Apply advanced knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic systems
Use Microsoft products and industry software to read and write the English language
Write clear and accurate service notes and customer quotes for assigned work orders
Mentor less tenured mechanics in branch operations
Operate heavy equipment as required
Other duties as assigned
Work Qualifications (Physical Demands)
Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling, and/or pushing
Working at heights
Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, bending, and crouchingMust be able to lift/carry 50 pounds
Hand/eye and motor coordination
Work overtime as needed
Exposure to noise, heat, cold, odors, hazards, and atmospheric conditions
Required Experience and Qualifications
5+ years of experience in the heavy equipment repair industry
Advanced diagnostic and repair with heavy equipment (construction, mining, material handling, paving, milling, etc.)
Strong computer skills including Microsoft products and industry software
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to convey repair details in clear and accurate service notes
Ability to mentor less tenured mechanics
Employment Type Full‑time, First Shift Monday through Friday (Onsite or Remote)
Schedule First Shift, Monday through Friday
