Armoloy , we’re seeking a motivated

Lab Technician

to join our laboratory team. In this role, you’ll support critical chemical and metallurgical testing operations that ensure the quality and consistency of our industry-leading surface coatings.

You’ll work hands‑on with advanced analytical instruments and collaborate with experienced chemists and engineers to maintain Armoloy’s high standards of performance and innovation.

What You’ll Do

Chemical Analysis & Testing:

Perform process solution analysis using

Atomic Absorption (AA) spectrometry ,

Ion Chromatography (IC) , and

wet chemistry methods .

Metallurgical Testing:

Conduct metallurgical experiments and testing as directed by the Corporate Chemist.

Data Reporting:

Record and report analytical and experimental results accurately and on time for the

Armoloy franchise network .

Laboratory Organization:

Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized laboratory environment.

Quality & Compliance:

Follow all

safety protocols ,

quality system standards , and

regulatory requirements

(including Nadcap and ISO 17025).

Continuous Improvement:

Collaborate with the Lab Director and Corporate Chemist to improve testing processes and maintain data integrity.

What We’re Looking For

Education:

B.S. in

Chemistry

or comparable experience in an analytical chemistry lab (academic or professional).

Experience:

Hands‑on experience with

AA ,

IC , and

wet chemistry

techniques.

Exposure to

industrial plating

processes preferred.

Familiarity with

Microsoft applications , including

Power BI

and

SharePoint .

Experience with

Nadcap

or

ISO 17025

quality systems a plus.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to follow precise procedures and maintain meticulous records.

Working Conditions

Approximately

75% laboratory work

and

25% shop floor exposure.

No travel required.

Occasional lifting (may be required.)

Working Hours:

8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday–Thursday; 8:00 am to 3:00 pm Friday.
