Telemetry Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Illinois RN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN or in a telemetry nursing job
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
Travel Telemetry RN Responsibilities
Monitor and assess cardiac and pulmonary patients in a telemetry unit
Administer prescribed medications and treatments
Collaborate with physicians, unit techs, and other healthcare professionals
Accurately document patient care and progress in electronic health records
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and provide rapid interventions
Deliver compassionate nursing care and support to patients and their families
