Unit:
10-bed Acute Rehab Center specializing in Neuro Rehab, CVA, Spine, and Ortho patients
Assignment Type:
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Rehab
Duration:
13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025, End: 3/14/2026)
Shift:
12-hour night shifts (every other weekend required; assignments end on Saturday)
Hours per Week:
36
Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1680-$1800
Orientation:
Every other Monday
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience (prior travel nursing experience required)
Active Registered Nurse license (Nursys verification required)
BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Completed skills checklist and explanation for any work history gaps over 90 days
Cerner EMR experience highly preferred
CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) certification highly preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a teaching hospital environment
All requested time off must be submitted with application
Local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible for this travel RN job
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to acute rehab patients, specializing in neuro and orthopedic rehabilitation
Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and response to treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including students and new hires, to support a culture of learning
Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform clinical procedures as required
Educate patients and families on care plans, rehabilitation goals, and discharge instructions
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
