Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Ability to provide requested time off (RTO) at time of submission

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to laboring patients and families

Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery

Assist with labor support, delivery procedures, and postpartum care

Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold hospital policies
