Serve as the
bedside trauma RN
in the trauma room when assigned. Manage a patient load with ratios up to
1:5
. Perform assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team. Administer medications, manage IV infusions, and maintain accurate documentation. Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in rapid assessments and interventions. Ensure adherence to hospital and regulatory policies, including infection control and safety standards. Requirements: Education & Licensure: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program –
Required Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district –
Required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) –
Highly Desired Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
– Required ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
– Required PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
– Required TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
– Required NIHSS (Stroke Scale Certification)
– Required Experience: Minimum
3 years of Emergency Room RN experience
– Required Cerner EMR experience
