Sales Executive (Japanese Speaking) – $32.50 Training Pay
Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to generate new vacation ownership opportunities and build lasting relationships with prospective owners in Japanese/English environments. The position offers a base wage of $14 per hour plus production pay, and a training period of $32.50 per hour.
Job Summary Utilize proven sales techniques and processes to convert prospective owners into purchasers and reload owners. Develop relationships and follow up on referrals and leads. Deliver a customized sales experience and complete the sales contract process, ensuring all paperwork is accurate, complete, and submitted on time. Maintain ongoing owner relationships after the sale to secure satisfaction, referrals, and future business opportunities.
Compensation
Base wage: $14 per hour
Production pay during training: $32.50 per hour
Commission potential upon qualification
Candidate Profile
Required
High school diploma or GED
Proficiency in English and Japanese
Active, good‑standing Hawaii Real Estate license (if required by law)
Preferred
One year of related sales experience
Willingness
Work weekends and holidays as needed by business requirements
Job Specific Tasks
Answer owner questions regarding property use, amenities, and location benefits.
Follow up on referrals and leads from owners.
Provide pricing, maps, descriptions, and network information to prospects.
Contact owners to monitor satisfaction and promote upcoming promotions.
Maintain accurate records of customer contacts and use data for effective follow‑up.
Monitor contract processing to minimize rescissions, ensuring timely closings.
Present consultative sales presentations, tailoring the approach to each prospective owner’s needs.
Explain product features, benefits, and financing options clearly.
Complete and close sales contracts, ensuring all required documents are signed and notarized.
Prepare daily appointments, review tour sheets, and manage customer correspondence via email, phone, or mail.
Respond to owner inquiries regarding product information, servicing issues, financing, and maintenance.
Leverage virtual tour software and showcase property and model tours.
Assist with training, daily huddles, and meetings to improve sales techniques and knowledge.

Results driving, planning, organizing, and relationship building across internal and external stakeholders.
Customer relationship management and learning of new sales strategies.
Basic computer skills and proficiency with MARSHA, PMS, SFA, and HR technologies.
