Summary
The Electrical / Controls / Automation Engineer manages the process of specifying designing configuring testing supervising and manufacturing control electrical and automation this role you will serve as a technical reference for designers and engineering technicians responsible for automation instrumentation and control system integration / development. Additionally you will provide remote assistance for on-site installation and support of PLC / HMI / computer-based hardware offer schedule and cost updates to project managers on multi-discipline projects and maintain effective communication with clients and co-workers. Essential Functions
Designs control systems and instrumentation equipment including electrical control panels. Conducting analytical assessments and troubleshooting. Initiating and leading projects independently. Assists with installation and commissioning tasks (experience preferred but not required). Modifying and upgrading existing systems. Analyze the processes of the assigned facility Identify shortcomings that could be opened by automation Design systems that can automate processes Maintain and repair systems Inspect systems to ensure they meet safety regulations Familiarity with PLC / SCADA software across multiple platforms. Education and Experience
Bachelors degree or higher in Electronic & Electrical / Controls / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent experience. Electrical equipment in explosive environments : 5 years (Required) Electrical Engineering : 5 years (Required) Instrumentation : 5 years (Required) PLC HMI and related hardware : 5 years (Required) Controls Automation : 5 years (Required) Electrical Panel Equipment Design : 2 years (Required) VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) : 5 years (Preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time Vacancy: 1
