Job Overview Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Pulmonology Program has an excellent opportunity for a Division Chief. The Chief will lead the division’s clinical and educational services to our growing Pediatric Pulmonology and Cystic Fibrosis programs.

Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership : Lead a team of 5 Pediatric Pulmonologists and 2 APRNs (team growing). Provide strategic leadership in clinical practice, set clinical vision, guide best practices, ensure high-quality patient care.

Program Growth : Expand and develop pediatric pulmonary and cystic fibrosis programs, build relationships with community pediatricians, researchers, healthcare professionals. Allocate resources, support staff and patients.

Educational Component : Teach residents, fellows and other medical professionals; mentor trainees in clinical and research settings.

Academic Collaboration : Support academic publishing, collaborate with experts, contribute to research advancements in pediatric pulmonology.

Cystic Fibrosis Focus : Oversee the accredited CF Care Center, maintain high standards of care, supervise clinical protocols, patient support, latest treatments.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration : Coordinate care with specialists such as nutrition, social work, physical therapy to provide holistic care.

Research and Clinical Trials : Lead clinical research or trials in cystic fibrosis, stay at forefront of new therapies and treatments.

Team Dynamics & Culture : Fostering teamwork, mutual respect, collaboration; support physicians with advanced technology and administrative structure.

Qualifications

Board Certification in Pediatric Pulmonology, subspecialty training or experience in cystic fibrosis preferred.

Leadership Experience: prior role as Assistant or Associate Division Chief, program director, or director of a specialized pediatric care unit.

Academic Credentials: experience in teaching, mentoring, or research in pediatric pulmonology/CF.

Strong Communication Skills: lead and communicate effectively with diverse team.

Salary Salary Range: Minimum $0/hour – Maximum $0/hour. Salary discussed during candidate screening calls.
