Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Seeking experienced PNP or FNP for inpatient/nocturnal pediatric hospitalist role in San Bernardino County, CA. In this role, you will have a private room to sleep with work space, overseeing newborn nursery and inpatient pediatrics census. Current CA license required. 23 weeks per year is full-time; part‑time options available. Salary: $180,000 per year. 7 p‑7 a schedule, every other week; Level 3b NICU 1 PNP per shift. On‑call pediatrician available at all times with rounds in the AM emergency department for emergent situations. Inpatient admissions usually 5 per night; high acuity cases transferred. “Bread and butter” community practice pediatrics work. Handle phone calls from nurses and admissions; no calls from parents. Newborn nursery average census 13, 2–3 deliveries nightly; NICU has dedicated staff. Epic EMR; neonatal consults for high‑risk deliveries; write orders for normal deliveries.
