Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical First Assistant Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel General Information Beds: 14 Experience: CST/AT: 2-3 years First time traveler: Yes with 3 years of OR experience Avg Cases per day: 20-23 GYN Teaching facility Team works across all specialties Patient Types: Top 3: Ortho, GYN, General General (cholecystectomy, appendectomy) Bariatrics (robotic, laparoscopic) 35% of cases are ortho (total joint, sports medicine, ACDF, laminectomy, microdiscectomy) Plastics (breast reconstruction, total, biopsy) Urology (TURPS, cystoscopy, aquablation) GYN (ruptured ectopic, total hysterectomy, D&C, hysteroscopy) Robotic: Davinci XI (experience required) Striker Mako Robot for Joint replacement (knee mostly) No Neuro, complicated spine, baby deliveries.
