Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/08/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: MRI Tech - MRI Tech Job Details: • Work 3x12-hour day shifts, Thursday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • Weekend coverage required on Saturdays only • No on-call responsibilities • No floating between service lines or other facilities required • Minimum 1 year MRI experience required • First-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: ARRT (MR), BLS • Experience with Siemens Espree equipment required • Radiation badge not required • Scrub colors: Black, Teal, or Grey • Epic charting system preferred • Free parking provided • 8 hours of orientation required • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy) • Perform high quality MRI examinations on patients from neonate through geriatrics • Must be able to produce very high quality special imaging with little supervision • Must function effectively in a team-oriented environment • Must be familiar with age-specific criteria • Prepare and administer contrast media when required • Complete modules averaging 4 hours (non-billable, completed pre-start) • May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) Facility: This acute care hospital features 200 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services to the community.
