Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/08/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech Job Details: • Work 5x8 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with variable days • Perform diagnostic imaging scans on patients from 1st to 3rd trimester on high-risk pregnancies • Conduct routine and specialized sonography procedures including NT, biophysical profiles, detailed level II scans, twins/triplets, umbilical artery doppler, middle cerebral artery doppler, and transvaginal scans • Produce quality images for physicians and healthcare providers for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease • Handle patient ratios of up to 8 patients during day shifts • Work with adult patient population • Must have graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or ARDMS certificate • Minimum 3 years experience as an OB ultrasound technician required • Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARDMS OB/Gyn, ARDMS FE • Epic charting system experience preferred • Travel experience required • Previous charge experience preferred • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing • Valid state license and Nursys verification within last 2 weeks required at submission • Two references obtained within the last year required • 50-mile travel requirement applies Facility: This healthcare organization operates a specialized Maternal-Fetal Medicine department that focuses on high-risk pregnancies and advanced diagnostic imaging services.
