Job Summary We are seeking a Manager, Customer Experience Analytics to lead Data Engineering for our Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) team. This critical role is the product owner and single point of accountability for our Customer Experience Data Warehouse (CXDW), ensuring trustworthy data for operational reporting, dashboards, and advanced modeling.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
Lead the Data Engineering Team: recruit, manage, mentor, and coach a high‑performing team, fostering operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Delivery Management: define technical roadmaps, manage project backlogs, and oversee sprint planning for timely delivery of data features and source integrations.
Establish Standards: enforce best practices for code quality, data governance, version control, and deployment; monitor and track team performance.
Data Access & Warehouse Management
Own the CXDW: operational owner, overseeing scalability, performance, and SLAs.
Pipeline Execution: oversee daily ETL/ELT pipeline execution and maintenance, integrating CRM, marketing automation, and other data sources.
Modeling for Utility: optimize data models for reporting and complex machine learning, simplifying access for users.
IT Partnership: collaborate with IT infrastructure teams on cloud resources, platform stability, and data security compliance.
Operational Reliability & Data Integrity
Service Delivery: implement monitoring and alerting for high uptime; trigger incident responses immediately.
Data Integrity: lead data governance and quality monitoring programs for accurate, consistent customer data.
Source Management: maintain processes for campaign data, lead management, and marketing list management.
Metadata & Documentation: ensure comprehensive data dictionaries and lineage documentation.
Stakeholder Coordination & Strategic Input
Strategic Sourcing: coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and integrate new data sources.
Analysis & Optimization: analyze marketing and sales data, recommend optimization opportunities.
Reporting Foundation: create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities.
Technology Evaluation: assess new technologies to improve team performance.
Communication: effectively translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Minimum Education Required Bachelor’s Degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
Preferred Education Master’s Degree (desired).
Minimum Experience Required
At least 7 years in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Analytics.
Minimum 2 years in a direct management or technical lead capacity.
Experience supporting data analysis, operational reporting, and/or data science functions.
Proven experience managing data quality, SLAs, and system availability.
Utility, contact center, or digital analytics experience desired.
Experience in project and/or product management roles desired.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Expert SQL (MSSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake).
Proficiency in Python.
Experience managing ETL pipelines with Apache Spark, Airflow, Kubernetes, Scala.
Knowledge of AWS data warehousing and ETL (S3, Glue, EMR, SageMaker).
Experience with PowerBI data layers.
Domain expertise in analytics for utilities and customer journey.
Agile/Lean project and product management skills.
Strong relationship building across the utility.
Primary Location Arkansas – Little Rock; Louisiana – New Orleans; Texas – The Woodlands.
